CBSE CTET Exam 2015 2016: Results expected on April 01, 2015 2016

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the results for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2015 2016. The results would be available on the official website of CBSE CTET.  The CBSE had released the answer keys in the month of February. Earlier on March 24, it was reported that the CTET was facing evaluation issues in OMR sheets and question papers.

More than 10 OMR sheets have allegedly gone missing from Delhi and at the same time in the Marathi paper, set ‘D’ had an incomplete reading passage. Candidates also alleged that the serial numbers of OMR sheets did not match those of the question paper.

The CBSE Board has admitted printing errors in the Marathi language paper and informed that suitable compensation would be provided to the affected. However, the issue of missing OMR sheets remained unanswered. The CBSE CTET 2015 2016 was conducted at 988 centres in 100 cities across the country, where 7.4 lakh candidates had participated in the exam.

In the CTET exam the Marathi language paper had a reading passage of nearly 300 words, for which candidates were to answer nine questions. However, in set ‘D’ of the paper the passage had only 60 words.

Addressing the issue CBSE Board replied through an e-mail stating, “There was a printing error in some of the test booklets. Immediate action was taken on February 22, 2015 2016, i.e. the date of examination. But while finalizing the result, a suitable compensation will be given to the affected candidates who were administered Set-D in the entire country.”
