DU MBBS Admission 2016 Eligibility: Candidates can check DU MBBS Admission 2016 Eligibility given below. Aspirants who wish to pursue MBBS and BDS programmes from Faculty of Medical Sciences, Delhi University (DU FMS) are advised to read the Delhi University Medical admission eligibility criteria before applying the application form.

Age: Candidates must complete 17 years of age on or before December 31, 2016. The candidates completing the age of 17 years on January 1, 2016 or later will not be eligible for DU MBBS admission 2016

Nationality: Candidates must be Indian Nationals/Overseas citizens of India

Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates must havepassed10+2/HSCwith Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English subjects
  • Candidate must have studied class 11and 12 classes regularly from a recognized school within the National Capital Territory of Delhi
  • Female candidates from outside Delhi belonging to SC/ST/CW category havepassed10+2/HSC are eligible for admission to Lady Harding Medical College only against the seats reserved for these categories

DU MBBS 2016 Application Form: The application procedure of DU MBBS 2016 will begin tentatively in the month of April. The Delhi University MBBS 2016 application form can either be downloaded from official website or from the link given below. The DU MBBS 2016 application form cum admission brochure can also be purchased from Deputy Registrar, Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Delhi upon submitting a crossed MICR Bank Draft/Banker’s Cheque/Pay Order drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of the “Registrar, University of Delhi” payable at Delhi. It must be noted that money in cash will not be accepted in any case for supply of Bulletin of Information. The filled in DU MBBS 2016 application form must reach to Joint Registrar, Faculty of Medical Sciences along with all the requisite necessary enclosures on or before the last date by Hand, by Registered Post or by Speed Post.

DU MBBS 2016 Selection Procedure: Faculty of Medical Sciences will shortlist candidates for admission to MBBS and BDS programmes based on the marks secured in AIPMT 2016. According to officials, only those candidates are eligible for DU MBBS 2016 admission counselling who score the requisite percentage in entrance exam. To become eligible for Delhi University Medical 2016 admission, general category candidates have to score a minimum of 50% and Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Classes have to score 40% in the entrance exam. Candidates will be selected strictly on the basis of their rank in their merit list.

DU MBBS 2016 Merit List: The Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Delhi University will declare DU MBBS 2016 merit list in the month July for admission to MBBS and BDS courses. Delhi University Medical 2016 merit list will be based on the marks scored by candidates in the AIPMT 2016. The admission will be done made strictly on the basis of DU MBBS 2016 merit list of all the eligible candidates in each category. The merit list will have overall rank for DU MBBS, candidate’s name and their category, AIPMT roll number, marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects, etc.

DU MBBS 2016 Counselling: The counselling will be conducted for allotment of MBBS and BDS seats offered at Delhi University. DU MBBS 2016 counselling will be conducted in offline mode in which candidates have to report in person as per the schedule allotted for their rank. The Delhi University Medical 2016 counselling will be conducted in three rounds beginning in the month of July. At the time of counselling candidate will be required to produce necessary documents like AIPMT admit card, result and other original certificates.
